I’m John, ever since I can remember, aviation has always intrigued me. That passion took flight in a real way two years ago when I started flying, and I haven’t looked back since. Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, the skies above the region have always felt like home—and now they’re literally my playground. Whether it’s the hum of an engine or the view from the cockpit, flying is more than just a hobby—it’s my passion. My drive now is to help other aviation enthusiasts reach their goals and dreams.

What is Accelerated Instruction?
Accelerated flight instruction is a focused and intensive approach to learning to fly (and other ratings), aimed at helping you achieve your certification efficiently while maximizing the quality of your training. It’s about dedicating a concentrated block of time to immerse yourself in flying, away from the usual distractions of life. With the accelerated program a private pilots license can be obtained with two to three months of flying five times a week.
Flight Instruction Services
I provide a variety of flight instruction services to clients in the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area. As someone who has done all of his flight training while working full-time, I understand the challenges many students face with the traditional flight school environment, and I aim to provide a more flexible, personalized approach to flight training. I am very invested in seeing my students succeed. I have experience flying in a variety of different airplanes, and I believe in helping my students reach beyond the training environment and experience everything that General Aviation has to offer!
I offer flight instruction out of Porter County Regional airport, as well as some of the other surrounding airports. I can also provide instruction in your own airplane.

Rates
My standard flight instruction rates are as follows:
- Discovery Flight – $99
- Flight Instruction – $75/hr
- Ground Instruction – $50/hr
- ZOOM Ground Instruction – $50/hr
- Aircraft Rental – $145/hr wet
These prices are based on the flight training being conducted at Porter County Regional Airport (KVPZ). I can also offer instruction at other airports within 30 miles of KVPZ (for additional mileage charge), or ground instruction via Zoom.
